San Jose California Minimum Wage 2024.  — the city of san jose office of equality assurance (oea) has been contracted to investigate and enforce the minimum wage ordinance for the following cities. Gavin newsom in september signed a law that raises the minimum wage for the industry to $20 an hour.

The minimum wage in california, effective january 1, 2024, is $16.00/hour for all employers. Small businesses with 25 or fewer employees would be required to start paying at least $17 next year, and $18 in 2026.
